Hey Peeps,
I just created a Donation widget on my profile with a goal of 4800 points.  
If/When we make this goal (it comes out to about 60 bucks) we can make ArtOfFood a Super Group and do some really amazing stuff with respect to folder organization, layout and other things.
You can donate as many or as few as you wish however the minimum point purchase from DA (AFAIK) is 400 points : 5 dollars  (The price of a goddamned Starbucks coffee and danish).  If you look at the current folder structure it sprawls almost 40 across and there are still finer distinctions I would like to make.  I used to have a total train wreck in the desserts and sweets category  (over 15 tabs deep) until I broke it out into about 10 categories.  I would like to have a smaller number of top level categories and nest several smaller categories under them.  Furthermore I would also like to build out finer distinctions in others : eg Ethic Cuisine could stand several different subs such as American, European, Oriental, Mid Eastern... etc...  The Meat folders could be placed under a single top heading but lower headings further differentiated.  I am totally open to suggestions in how this shapes up.  At the moment the linear folder arrangement is a flustercluck whenever I need to do my weekly/bi-weekly/whenever FeatureFolder "where the hell does this go" decision making blitz (It's not always easy because frequently a deviation will end up in multiple folders - for example Tandori Chicken will end up in Poultry, Grilled Delights, Ethnic Cuisine and probably Favorites, Torstan's drawing of a Brownie will end up in Chocolate, Brownies-Cookies and Food Illustrations... You get the idea and it does take a lot of time to do it right.  At some point I'll need to review the contents of each folder deviation by deviation and build a data base and possibly broaden the classification of many deviations.  ARE WE HAVING FUN YET??.  Compare our current organization to other food groups on DA and think about this..HAHAHA WE RULE!!!!!.

Benefits to you?  I'll create an AMAZING feature containing  samples of each contributor's deviations.  
HELL, ANYBODY contributing 800 points or more will get their OWN dedicated folder under the new organization.  
I'll call that main folder Deep Pockets or something like that (only 6 slots available so you had better hurry ))

Doing the math:
We have 219 members at this point, that's like 22 points per person.  That like 25 cents per member per year.  
Assuming 10% contributors/ 90% slackers we are talking $2.50 each or for the convenience of our continental audience 1.75 €
Considering the fact that I'm probably going to hound a LOT of you (especially the big contributors to the featured folder which I end up taking LOTS of time to sort into subfolders)  I plan to keep it that way too because this is an iron fisted dictatorship WRT where things get sorted OTOH I am always open to suggestions as to where things should go.  Sometimes I probably screw up.  See a pic and it looks like a gelatinous blob resembling something sweet it will probably end up in Jello.  If for some reason I later see a note that it is a cow's eye ball I will move it into Beef.  So it helps to be clear WTF something is if it isn't obvious.  I even translate the goddamned Italian, French, Tagalog etc titles to figure out if something moos, squacks, swims or flies.  Yeah, It's not all that easy keeping this place organized.  BUT! I LOVE IT.
